About Me
I have been a qualified teacher (PGCE) for over thirty-five years. I was a class teacher and subject leader in London primary schools for more than ten years, from 1989 – 2000. I then took on the role of an ICT Advisory Teacher for a London local authority for a further ten years from 2000 to 2011.
I started my own independent consultancy business – Marion Reilly etc – in April 2011 supporting schools with staff training and INSET, policy and curriculum development and resource creation.
I initially focused on Computing and ICT but soon expanded to cover Thematic Curriculum Development, Science, Online Safety, GDPR and more recently, Artificial Intelligence.
In recent years I have enjoyed working as a freelance Education Media Consultant for the BBC and other media production companies. I also design and manage school websites.
I live in East London, and most of my current work is local, but I am happy to travel.
